Welcome to the website of creative artist Ian Deal.

Whilst most of the compositions featured on this website have come to fruition during a lifetime of soul searching, the current times we live in allow for such creativity and inspiration that new compositions are added daily. Art has become a jigsaw puzzle in that creative artworks previously stood as puzzle pieces, but now, with the tools the artist has available, we are able to piece them together as compositions of an ever evolving picture.

The aim of this website is to inspire others so please feel free to enjoy all that is here and know that the artist is available and happy to be contacted.

Art has evolved with the introduction and the development of the digital age, a new and exciting age which allows artists to merge and manipulate all forms of art mediums into a sophisticated convergence, creating new and truly unique images, stories, songs and videos.

Whether the medium is a sketch, an oil painting, a watercolor, or a digital photograph, programs like Photoshop allow for the layering and merging of medias into a new expressive arena and whilst this may seem less artistic to those rooted in the traditional forms of expression the true essence of art remains rooted in the human intention to move others. Ultimately, the artistic merit of a piece is justified by the artist’s unique voice and the visceral response it triggers, confirming that while tools and times change, the core of art as a meaningful human expression remains irreplaceable.
